2026年は9月24日（木）に宵宮祭、9月25日（金）に例祭として開催予定です

会場は奈良公園近くの猿沢池と采女神社

中秋の名月の夜に行われる、奈良ならではの幻想的なお祭りです

見どころは、華やかな十二単姿の行列や花扇奉納、そして雅楽の音色に包まれながら船が猿沢池を巡る「管絃船（かんげんせん）の儀」

提灯の灯りが水面に映り、月明かりとともに織りなす美しい景色は、多くの観光客を魅了します

Autumn is one of the most beautiful seasons to visit Nara, and the Uneme Festival is one of its most enchanting traditional events. In 2026, the festival will be held on September 24 (Eve Festival) and September 25 (Main Festival) at Sarusawa Pond and Uneme Shrine.

The festival features elegant processions in traditional Junihitoe robes, the offering of decorative fans, and the highlight of the evening—the Kangensen Ceremony. Accompanied by the gentle sounds of traditional Japanese court music, a beautifully illuminated boat glides across Sarusawa Pond, creating a breathtaking scene reflected on the water under the autumn moon.
